We pride ourselves on providing you with the best therapy approach and provider. This is supported by having a diverse staff of highly skilled therapists who specialize in a variety of therapeutic modalities. At Affirmative Counseling Center, we can address such issues as Anxiety, Depression, Mood Swings, Low Self-Esteem, Trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, LGBTQ+ issues, and Substance Abuse - all using evidence-based treatments.
We begin the process by offering you a no-charge 30-minute consultation. During this time, we can discuss what you would like to see changed in your life, the hurdles getting in your way and how we can help. If you decide that Affirmative Counseling Center is for you, we access your insurance (if you have it) to help with the costs of therapy and schedule your first appointment.
We provide therapy for you in person at our offices in West Hollywood, California, or on Zoom, depending on your preference.

Our Story
We created Affirmative Counseling Center over the past few years as the pandemic started. As therapists, during this time we experienced increased emotional challenges for ourselves, our families, our friends, and our clients. This unprecedented period of time brought a need for more accessible and affordable care, which did not seem to exist. Thus, the idea to create Affirmative Counseling Center was born. We were able to gather a community of like-minded, highly skilled, and deeply motivated providers committed to an affirmative approach.
As providers united under one roof (sometimes a virtual roof), we are able to work more efficiently and effectively, offer insurance, and/or affordable rates. This model of affirmative professional collaboration was successful for us as we saw more people were able to access our services. We are proud to say the commitment to our model worked and we continue with it today.
