Stephanie Kaufman, ASW

In my practice, I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in helping clients better manage the emotional difficulties that can come from major life transitions, such as parenting, divorcee, separation, death of a loved one, career changes and job loss. In this complicated arena of life transitions, I have guided clients through the commonly associated emotions and behaviors such as depression, anxiety, grief, self-limiting beliefs, substance abuse, and sexuality concerns.

Using a variety of modalities, my goal is to create a therapeutic approach that meets your individual needs to return to a healthy emotional state in your completed transition. I work from a place of empathy, non-judgement, and compassion to help you recognize the path toward finding solutions for your concerns, helping you find your happier more peaceful life. I received my master’s in social work from the University of Southern California with a specialization in families and am currently supervised by Laura Hicks LCSW.
